The MikroTik L23UGSR-5HaxD2HaxD, also known as the NetMetal ax, is a robust outdoor access point. It supports the latest Wi-Fi 6 standard, ensuring fast and stable connections. This dual-band device operates on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. It is an upgrade to the popular RB922 DIY router.

This router features a dual-core 800 MHz ARM CPU. It includes 256 MB of RAM and 128 MB of NAND storage. Connectivity options are versatile. There is one Gigabit Ethernet port and one 2.5 Gigabit SFP port. A USB 2.0 Type A port is also present. The device also has a miniPCIe slot with a NanoSIM slot. This allows for LTE modem or LoRa IoT gateway integration.

The L23UGSR-5HaxD2HaxD boasts an IP66 rating. This makes it dust and water-resistant for outdoor use. It can operate in temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. Power is supplied via PoE-in (18-28V DC) or a DC jack (12-28V DC). Four MMCX connectors allow for various antenna choices. This enables custom omnidirectional or point-to-point links. It runs on RouterOS v7 with a Level 4 license.
